Alter do Chão, Pará, Brazil is where the Amazon’s natural splendor meets the serene sandy beaches of the Tapajós River. I was captivated by the lush landscapes, vibrant local culture, and the ancestral energy of the native people, which deepened my connection with Mother Nature. Spending six days alone exploring these awe-inspiring vistas and meeting the most welcoming people allowed me to reconnect with myself in profound ways. The photos below capture moments of calm and wonder from my time exploring the shores and forests of this unique region in 2022.
